My Halloween game is finally out.. unfortunately a few days too late :(
But if you like zombies it's never too late.
How often do you get to play a vegetarian zombie that is getting chased by a bunch of rednecks that live in a trailer?
I'd like to thank all of you guys in the forum, irc and GG that are constantly helping us out. You know who I'm talking about ;)

Congratulations! How long did it take Apple to approve it?

3.5 weeks, but it was mostly my fault. a week after I submit it originally I had to reject the application and resubmit with new keywords. you can't use brands in your keywords. I had pacman.

So 2.5 weeks, that's not too bad compared to some that I've seen. I'll download it as soon as I get back, nice work.

Did you use TGB's a-star path finding for Biozombie?
Astro Bugz runs great with all the flashy graphics on my 3g. Any tips to get this kind of performance?
Congratz.

Biozombie does use the built in A* that comes with TGB.
For Astro Bugz, my biggest performance tips, would be pooling.
Making new objects would suck up all your performance. so I actually allocate all the objects that I need for each level when the level loads and I never create new ones. a good example would be the split bomb powerup. at the beginning of each level I create 12 fireballs, and each split powerups would use 4 of them to a max of 12.

I like Biozombie. Downloaded it and will recommend it to a friend. As an aside, how did you capture such smooth video of Astro Bugs? All screen-cap programs I use have poor framerates.

@Chris: I can recommend Screenflick if you want a good capture program for Mac.

Okay, will look at both. I have tried the demo of FRAPS but it didn't like the funky 480x320 resolution.

Screenflick has shortcuts specifically to capture the iPhone simulator. Instant win.
