Unable to export a full pool table from Max

I'm using TGEA and Max 2009, and trying to export a full pool table using the DTS exporter. That fails with a message saying "Found two meshes named 'box' of size 2".

The table basically has different parts grouped together in Max. I thought I could export the group in full but it's not happening. is there any way around this except for exporting the table part by part?

I think you may want to re-read the Max exporting docs.

1. You don't need to group shapes as the exporter works based on a hierarchical system.

2. Groups are not bad to use as long as the grouped-meshes have different names prior to the 'renumbering of the selection' or after..you can merely change the names in the schematic view as long as you leave the trailing detail#. Rename 1 'box2' to 'boxx2'.
