Torque 3D? I've missed a lot... Can I still upgrade from TGEA?

Hello everyone. It's been a while since you've heard from me, I've hidden under the rock that is college life, and missed something huge here at GarageGames apparently...

Anyways, back in 2007 I bought TGEA (as an upgrade from TGE, which I bought in late 2004) and had been having a blast playing with it in my downtime. But having not checked out GG much in about a year, I completely missed the development and release of Torque 3D!

So naturally, everything about T3D looks perfect to me. Although since I did not see an upgrade option, I looked elsewhere for all of the wonderful features T3D offers. Naturally I found Unity. I tried it for about a month, and all it did is made me miss Torque.

So here is my question: Can I still upgrade to T3D? As a poor college student who would love to maintain this hobby, upgrading is really my only option, as I can't afford it really.

Thank you,
Justin Woodman

Your account only shows TGE, so you'd better check that you don't have another one somewhere ;)

When you put T3D in the basket, you'll see any discounts resulting from previous engines. If you have TGEA, it should cost about $705. If you only have TGE (as your posting account shows), it'll be $855, I think.

Interesting, it does only show I own TGE... Well it doesn't matter because the purchase page shows the price of T3D as being $705. I wonder why it doesn't say I own TGEA though? It still shows in my list of purchases, and I can still download it!

Probably because you missed the site changes as well, which bequethed this little bit of happiness to several people ;) Email GG and they'll be able to fix you up.

Haha it doesn't really matter. I just wanted to make sure I was eligible for the upgrade pricing. How long to I have to buy it before I can no longer get the discount?

That discount lasts for ever because thats just discouting you what you payed for TGEA. There was a T3d discount that was cheaper but your months late for that one.
