I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but basically all I'm trying to do is have a physX box that I can bring in a drop and it will collide and stuff.
So far I have not had any luck.
BTW: the online docs are very vague and VERY incomplete. Also they seem to only be concerned with breakable objects.
Basically I have a bunch of cargo Items that I'm trying to stack on a boat and I want to make it so if they are not stacked properly they will tip over and fall.
Second there doesn't seem to be any real info for just making a simple one piece physX object.
I followed the docs as best I could I made the that was the same size as my object then made physical and left it at dynamic object.
then clicked "Add All Phys." Then I click then xml export and named the file the same as my object "px_test_box.xml"
I then exported the object using the latest Open Collada exporter as recommended. Then I gave it to our programer to drop in but it comes in really small and must be scaled up by 10X. "known issue with collada." but it also has this weird arrow shaped null or something around it. and then as we place it and the hit F11 to close the editor and enable simulation it falls through the terrain and moves around crazily. So and ideas or does someone know where some more complete docs or tuts on this are?
is there a way to just poly soup these or something? do I have to go through this painful process?
