How do i get my models to either DTS format or Max

by Marcus Yoder · in General Discussion · 05/03/2003 (9:13 am) · 3 replies

I have a several models to submit and i have found out that they need to be in either DTS format or Max. Does anyone know how to get files into this format because my #D modeling program cannot save them thatway. If anyone knows anything about the file formats that would be good too.

Which 3d modeling program are you speaking of?

Never heard of that one, but DTS is an exported format that you can export from in LW, trueSpace, Max, Maya, or Milkshape. Max is native to 3DS Max, and you won't find any exporters to that format, I don't think, because it's a procedural format.

I recommend exporting to a format you can get into Milkshape, which is very cheap, and then export from there...

If you do a search for file conversion utilities, there are plenty of free ones you could try (many for free I believe). Hope that helps :)
