Snapping tools in maya and duplication

Hey guys, so I have two questions. One is about how snapping works in torque 3D, i am very much used to mayas snapping tools where you are able to snap the transform orgin to specific verts and snap edegs to edges and verts to verts and was wondering if thier is a way to do that within torque. I see some of the snap options but I don't really know how to use them properly to be hones and thier ist really any documentation on it either. My second question is wondering if thier is a way to when copying and pasting an asset it does not just duplicate right on top of the asset its being duplicated from it is placed in some random place which thows off an asset if i would let it to be perfectly side by side, is thier a way to fix this ? I really would appreciate any sort of help that you guys can provide, thank you.
