I was wondering if it is possible to make a true free look (zoom out elevation should be set to a maximum though) with free rotate and zoom ability for an RTS?
Thanks guys

Note that it's not intended to be a full fledged tutorial that will build you an RTS from the ground up. It's intention is to show how some features can be achieved through combined use of the editors and scripting.

There is an RTS Prototype Tutorial. It has examples on how to implement some of the base features needed for an RTS. Scott - thanks very much. have you used the engine to make an RTS game or are you with the dev team here?

I do however have a project I'm working on that shares many RTS features, but I'm a long ways off from announcing anything about that. The engine is more than capable of handling an RTS. If you'd like to see an example of an RTS done with a previous version of the engine then take a look at Dreamlords.
