Scrub bug - goal disapearing

It happened already a couple of times: the goal (the green thingy, AND it's purple thingy in the radar) vanish. After that, I can see the other players rushing madly for a normal point in the landscape, but I an't see a thing.
I have to leave the game and re-join (reseting my score) for the goal to work again.

Hmm, We had a few reports of this happening during the beta, but we were not able to find steps to reproduce it.

So it appeared that everyone else could see the goal but you could not?

It is noted, and we will continue to look into this.

This has happened to me as well once, but rejoining solved that and I haven't been able to reproduci it either. I've had a similar problem a few times, and that is that I couldn't see the bullets fired at/by me. It doesn't happen often and I can't see anythiing I've done differently when it happens.

Interesting. We will continue to look into this odd behavior and fix it as soon as we can isolate it. Thanks for the feedback, keep it coming!

Well, I did quite a few more games today, and it seems to happend a LOT; even some DEMO players had the problems. In my case it's maybe 1/3 of the games. It happends both in single and team scrubs too.

It migth be interesting to correlate the reports to see if it's ATI only?

I'm on a 2*1.42 G4, ATI 9700 Pro, 23" screen
(yeah. I know, ThinkTank in 1920x1200 is neat )

I play as 'zoom!'

No - it's not ATI only. The goal disappeared last night and I'm running a NVidia TNT2Ultra (must get a better card!). This is with the full version running 640x480.

Hey guys, sorry for not posting this earlier. We have a fix for the bug and will update the servers soon (probably on Friday). We want to do a little more testing before releasing the build into the wild, but this bug should be a thing of the past. If in the meantime you encounter the bug, the work-around is to drop out and drop back in. Sorry for any inconvenience.
