Groundcover and tree collision.

I really like the ground cover but I have two problems with it.
1)The same objects used in one type slot might look different in different areas when it comes to how it receives light. I.e, two bush meshes next to each other, one of them is brighter as if it is receiving more light, the other is darker. If I add the same dea separately the materials look fine.
2) I know groundcover intended for flowers, grass and bushes mostly but I added some tree meshes as well in one of the type slots and the trees appear fine. And it had a huge positive effect on performance instead of adding many trees by shape replicator. However, although the dea mesh itself used as tree has a collision when added separately, the collision is gone when used in ground cover. Is there any workaround for this or groundcover is never meant to be used for adding trees?
I literally added hundreds of different types of trees with groundcover, having very reasonable performance and it looks great, the only thing is I can walk through those trees.

Also beware with shapeReplicator that there are issues with phantom collisions when using multiple Replicators and fairly high numbers.

I think the idea behind groundcover is that you're supposed to use it for small bushes and shrubbery, things which you can just wander through, rather than whopping great trees. Also beware with shapeReplicator that there are issues with phantom collisions when using multiple Replicators and fairly high numbers.

Yeah, I'm observing phantom collisions because of the shapereplicator. Any suggestions?

For the lights, it appears as if one bush is simply brighter than the other one although they are sitting next to each other as if one of them magically has its own ambient light. This might be a simple texture issue, I'll check with png/dds settings as well. The bush in question appears fine if added separately but acts weird under groundcover.Yeah, I'm observing phantom collisions because of the shapereplicator. Any suggestions?

As for the light, what exactly are you seeing?
