Help installing Torque GE 1.5.2

Ok this is going to sound completely newbie but I'm frustrated beyond frustrated. I just purchased a license from Torque Game Engine 1.5.2 through my school. Sadly the instructions from my professor & well the outdated book only cover VS 2003. I'm running VS 2008, so if I follow their instructions and attempt to compile the .sln file under the vc7 folder it fails to compile.
So my question is how in the world do I install Torque in order to even use it properly?

Now, if you're using VS2K8 Standard or above then there's even less setup to deal with. Simply open the .sln in the VS2005 directory as Paul mentioned, let the conversion wizard do it's thing, set the working directory as detailed in the directions and voila. The setup with the Express versions is pretty much the same only with a couple extra steps.

There are setup directions available on TGE's documentation page. The directions available there cover setup with both VS2K8 Express and VS2K5 Express. Now, if you're using VS2K8 Standard or above then there's even less setup to deal with.
