Some objects snapping to the terrain

Hi all.
I was playing with button "Snap all objects to the terrain"
It works goo for single object, but not for some objects.
I want to create a forest, but it is hard work to move(with shift of course) every single tree, for snapping to the terrain, or copy some trees and then snap everyone of them.
And one proposition about creating a forest.
For terrain you use impressive tool - circle or box, it could ve great to have such tool for arranging objects, like it is here - http://www.quadsoftware.com/index.php?m=section&sec=product&subsec=editor&target=Editor/tutorials_objects (Object transformation)
I think it has to be a part of forest kit though.
Thanks.

Yes, it is. But i am trying editor's usability, and forest with 10 trees could be enough for me.Thanks for advice.
