Has anyone found a way to make the terrain grid squares smaller to form a more round looking terrain enstead of the blocky looking effect?

Could you explain to me where you adjust the squaresize of the terrain at in the editor? I'm finding no settings for the terrains squares resizing.

just keep in mind: making the squares smaller = more straining for the systems. half the square size means 4 times the polygons.

thanks for replying i found it while waiting for an answer. I tried setting it at half (4) i see that it effects the whole terrain blocks size also? All im after is keeping the terrain block the same size but being able to make the grid smaller on that block, so that i can edit the terrain with more precision and get rid of the blocky effect.

To fight that you basically need to use a twice as large heightmap as you are altering heightmap data there, not some freeform terrain

The terrain will become half as large and you get double the density yes.To fight that you basically need to use a twice as large heightmap as you are altering heightmap data there, not some freeform terrain
