More than one alpha mask. T3D L3DT

Hi,

I'm using L3DT to create a terrain and it's giving me two alpha masks. I'm assuming you can go into Photoshop and add the other masks into the 1st alpha image and then edit the mask.xml file to reflect the changes. The .xml file has the Layers as red, green, blue. What would I change to add in the new layers? In other words what do I put where it says LayerColour? Assuming of course this is how you do this?

Below the layer is blue:

<Layer>
     <LayerColour>blue</LayerColour>
          <TexList>
               <TextureFile>"C:Documents and Settingsmichael_L3DTResourcesPro 2.7.0.0Climatescommongrassgrass1-dry.jpg"</TextureFile>
          </TexList>
     </Layer>

Or if anyone knows where I can find this info because I have searched the forums and came up with nothing, and looked in the Docs.

The T3D terrain system is not the same as the TGEA Atlas, it won't work anymore. The T3D one actually works totally different it has no "1 splat channel per texture mat" blending anymore at all.

The newest version of L3DT supports T3D terrain generation. Has import and export features for .ter files. Check out Bundysoft's website for details.

Thanks I'll check out the bundysoft website. I already did that resource and thats why I'm asking because it didn't use more than four textures.

Apparently you can't download the newest version from GG site? I have version 2.7 but it doesn't have the plug-in.

As it is on the dev plan for 2.8 you need to download the current beta build from bundysoft for it. its not present in a stable release (the last stable is 2.7 from feb 09, the current beta is a day old)

Head over to Bundysoft

Tell Aaron you'd like to help him test the current version with T3D export, and he'll hook you up.
