Decals must be square ?

I've been trying to insert much-needed decals, however, when I go to manually stretch them out, they will only scale uniformly in X+Y axis. I can't seem to stretch them out in just one direction, so that I can get a rectangle. is this a missing functionality that will be added later, or will decals always be like this ?

They locked me in here with a computer, and said I don't get to leave until I've completed a computer game.

Not sure if that will change or not, but you will probably want to make the decal a rectangle in the texture and just make the rest of it transparent.

We kept them square to keep things simple... but that could be changed.

There is a ton of stuff happening for T3D 1.1 already... so it won't happen then. But i'll keep it in mind for 1.2.

hey tom, glad to hear I've seeded the idea in your brain, hopefully it'll show up in a future release sooner rather than later :D
