TGEA = T3D correct?

Torque Game Engine Advanced is Torque 3D I am assuming correct? I know its a stupid question, I just wanted to be sure on the details. I bought the early adopters about 2.5 years ago and was making sure that I have the features I am seeing on the site or if mine is outdated. Thanks for entertaining my question :)

Oh, thats a bummer :\ Is there a comparison on what I do not have with TGEA vs T3D? Thinking of starting to work with TGEA but dunno if its worth it to right now.

Okay, I was thinking I could possibly start my project on TGEA and upgrade to T3D later on when I deem it necessary. How much would this affect my code if I were to upgrade?

I know that's not too helpful but how much you have to change when you upgrade all depends if you've changed in TGEA the areas that are different in Torque 3D.

As Scott mentions Torque 3D is really TGEA 2.0 so as you can imagine there are a lot of similarities between code... but also as Scott mentions Torque 3D is a HUGE upgrade from TGEA so there could also be a lot to change.I know that's not too helpful but how much you have to change when you upgrade all depends if you've changed in TGEA the areas that are different in Torque 3D.

I see. Possibly if I can get a basic prototype based on at least torquescript then I guess I may be able to justify the purchase. $700+ bucks is a ton of money for someone who may not even make any sort of cash from it at all ;)

As for how much of your code could be affected, well if you're still running the version from when you bought it then pretty much all of it. TGEA went through some pretty heavy changes just from 1.0 to it's current 1.8.1.
