map whites out

any idea what happens to cause this? I have issues switching between BL and AL that can black out the map. now when in BL I turn a certain angle and the map whites out. changing the angle brings it back to normal.

I've had a few "issues" switching back and forth between AL/BL.

Donald - just as a test, switch to BL, exit T3d totally, restart, reload mission and see if it still occurs (without switching lighting - so you'vew restarted in BL).

Also, have you got fairly uptodate drivers?

This type of stuff has been creeping around for a while. I'm starting to think the safest bet really is to create a prompt for your user making changing lighting modes one of those "this requires a restart" options for best compatibility. Unless it can be completely cleaned up.

it does the white out from a full restart. the black out is only from switching without reloading.

I will go thru and double check all my drivers but I believe they are up to date.

sorry for the late reply. all drivers are up to date so not sure why this happens. Also it doesn't do it on all maps just that one.
