Collisions Help

When I bring in a Static object I am able to set the collision to "Bounds ,Collision Mesh, Visible Mesh". Is there a way you can do the same with a shapereplicator object. I am unable to set it, and the old way of setting Collison in 3d app with DTS plugin I was hoping to avoid. Can I set "Bounds ,Collision Mesh, Visible Mesh" on a shape Replicator? Also iI have "Interactions" checked on the replicator, the Gideon character runs right through the objects. TIA

The option doesnt exist in the replicator, only the static.

I can tell you, the collision box works great and doesn't need to be anything complicated. My collision boxes around my trees are simple cylendars about the same size as the bottom of the tree trunk.

Now you done gone and done it. I had to go look. Forgive my mistake. My trees have collsion boxes around the trunks. Sorry about that. (mabe next time I need to look before I talk) :blush:I can tell you, the collision box works great and doesn't need to be anything complicated. thanks Mike, I was looking at the DTS collision tutorial. it is definately a few steps. when I get the full version, there will be tons of objects to put collison on. I was looking for a method similar to the static shapes for replicators to save time and not have to manually do every object.

Unfortunately, as has been stated in the private forums, you need "Interactions" checked and have a collision mesh.

I have interactions checked. nothing. character runs through shapereplicator objects. i guess i would have to set up DTS style collisions for it to work. thanks again.
