Best Kit to helpt with a RPG?

In my game I'm basically not going to be using the 640X480 window screen if possible by script can I change it to say 320X240 and full screen by a function command?

Okay I have enough for exactly 1 kit and I need to know a few things, how is torque script handled without torsion API? And which Starter Kit should I buy?
I'm basically only creating snes/GBA featured RPGs which torque can easily handle by a mile, way better than Game Maker could by graphics alone.

Since I know how to program, it'll take some getting use to with torquescript but once that's mastered this should be an enjoyable journey.
The RPG I'm trying to create is basically a console RPG with an action paced battle system, kind like zelda but faster.

I just purchased torque 2d today and am really excited about using it, I also use the mac version and it shouldn't be too hard to compile to a PC version(.exe) for a demo and ,dmg for mac.

Thanks.

The adventure kit would help you create a Zelda or Final Fantasy style RPG. In terms of Torsion - that is just a text editor for TorqueScript - you can edit script files with notepad just the same. I do recommend Torsion though as it helps increase productivity when writing script code - it has precompiling of scripts (check for errors) and markup.
