New SDK - Gideon can't drive...

Drop a default car into the desert for Gideon to have a play with and he doesn't seem to fit in the seat properly - poor guy needs a fix....

You could potentially change the vehicle datablock field "mountPose" to something else, but I don't really see a suitable available animation for him.... the crouch animation might work, maybe?
Some of the models previously available in Torque offered a sitting and/or a "scoutroot" animation pose. It's the scoutroot that was the default "driving" animation.
