Mac Status?

What is the status of the Mac implementation (Dave C?) on both Pre-X and X? Will it be up to par with the Windows and Linux clients at initial release (esp. wrt/networking but not disregarding other areas as well)?
Thanks,
Cary

The quick answer (bc I don't have time for a long one right now) is that the Mac client is in good shape and continues to make progress week to week. It is reasonably functional (graphically, generally, networking-ly), but overall it's still in the 'not yet ready for primetime' category as compared to the Windows side (which was a shipping platform, remember, and has been under some heavy beta testing for a while now). For a longer answer, you can check out my .plan.
