2D Game Building For Teens - Errata

My son and I have started going through this book by Michael Duggan and have run into several places where the code in the book is just plain wrong. If I wasn't already a programmer so I'd know where to look, my son would still be banging his head against the wall in frustration.
Neither the author nor publisher have an errata available on their sites, so my son and I decided to start keeping track of the problems and fixes on a new blog.
If you're going through the 2D Game Building For Teens book, be sure and check TorqueNation for errata.
Thanks.

Great. I have this book but have really found it helpful to grasp Torque script. I am not at the point to critique, test for real. I have heard it has errors, but did and do find the book helpful still.

What I especially like about it is that it gives you an easy way to get something going -- step-by-step. There's a ton of TGB information here at GG, but there's almost too much -- TGB is SOOO freaking powerful it's easy to get overwhelmed with what to learn first.
As soon as I get more comfortable and have some things to show I'm going to put some tutorial videos together. I've done dozens and dozens of "how-to" screencasts over the last few years, but none for Torque -- yet. =;)

Yeah, I find the book useful, but I'm glad I have a programming background to get past the rough spots. What I especially like about it is that it gives you an easy way to get something going -- step-by-step.
