Can't load a level, screen blank no matter what I do

I just installed Torque 3D. The main screen comes up fine and I can see the two demo games, Lighting and the FPS. The problem is when I try to load the game either into the world editor or play game the screen stays blank. I tried selecting every level and even tried loading them onto the web and exactly the same thing happens, nothing. When it's in the world editor all the controls are shaded out and when I select elements still nothing just a dark screen. It acts like the content is missing but the files seem to be there. The preview thumbnails also show fine. I'm using it on a Mac. I'll try loading it onto my PC tomorrow. Stumped? It all seems fine I just can't load a demo.

Okay I installed the PC version and it works fine. Looks like the Mac version is nonfunctional.

sure that you set it to Basic Lighting?

Advanced Lighting is not supported on the mac

I wasn't aware of that limitation but I just checked and it's defaulted to "Basic Lighting" so that's not the issue. In the editor the window is dark green and when I try to run games the window is black. Not sure what the issue is because everything is fine in Windows. I even tried starting a new game but the interface was still blank. I'm still on Leopard so it can't be a Snow Leopard issue. At least it works with Vista 64.

Interface beeing blank sounds like an issues with the playgui so I would check if the log and/or console mentions error.
