Hi guys, i'm really wanting to get into web design. I've always been interested in it, and I want something to do that is a challenge. The thing is I have no where to start. I want to learn how to make some decent sites, i'm getting better at using Photoshop and GIMP, so I don't need to learn much about that. Can someone point me in the right direction? Also can you someone share knowledge on what some good sites are to buy domain names?

There's a tonne of information around on the web about creating sites, personally I like to learn by reverse engineering already existing things, so perhaps download wordpress and take a look at how it's setup... most be quite good with so many people using it.
