Need basic Torqueengine information

Hello,

I'm pretty new to torque. Does GarageGames provide tools to build Wii games for free (free Wii games) or do I have to buy the torqueengine ?

If you're interested in making games for the Wii for free, your only real solution would be Flash. To create a proper game for the Wii will require a DevKit from Nintendo before GarageGames would be allowed to sell you a licence for Torque Wii.

Oh, but it's not the case with the 360. There are free SDK to develope proper games with the XNA Studio am I correct ?

The XNA Studio allows you to create programs for your own Xbox and if you pay a $100 fee, you can share them with members of the Microsoft XNA Creator's Club. It does not allow you to develop commercial games for XBox Live or the Xbox 360. If you want to do that, you need the very expensive SDK which is not possible for you as an individual to get. The same situation applies to the PS3 and the Wii.

I see some gameprojects for current consoles sometimes in the net, which makes me wonder how the guys want to do it if it's not possible, just check Moddb.com...
Unfortunately they're still pretty indie unfriendly...

Thank you folks!
