MMORPG - SoulByteGames

SoulByteGames was introduced in 2006 by Robert Sutton and Jordan Adamson. SoulByte which is the title of the game has been thought out throughout this time in contrast to what we feel is correct for gamers needs as we are gamers ourselfs. Jordan Adamson had quit the team back in 2007 which we lost out main artist and the company then hit a down fall in creating this game mainly because I was in Iraq. Currently, I have restarted SoulByteGames alone along with another programmer which is learning as he goes, I put this information out for you to see why later. But anyways, throughout this time I have redeveloped the strategy in which this MMORPG will have contrast in characters and game play totally and have spent a lot of time gathering information on what gamers want these days. As it comes to be this is a 3 or 4 year HUGE project which beta testing should start within 2 years or such. The game will be released FREE to the world. (More info confidential) Because we feel that gamers should game. Enjoy what we build because we build it for ourselves too as we will be playing our own game! We are trying to incorporate everything we can think of but not as much as to overload us right off the bat. Plain and simple lets get to the point though.

(WE EXCEPT ALL NEWBIE SECTIONS !!! We teach or let you learn as you go and have no problem in that !!)

Using: TGE 1.5.2 because it is stable. We will be switching to T3D soon enough

SoulByteGames has just come back and restarted purely from scratch and new staff. We are currently looking for individuals to join our team on a base of being paid monthly off earnings after release (Confidential and Contract). Mainly I do understand that there is alot of people out in this Torque environment that always say the same thing and they do their project for 5 months and quit. This is not the case as if I got to do this alone so be it, but I HIGHLY suggest you inquire me of it as im sure once you see the design document it will turn your head around. Now understandably everyone in this forum or alot of people who look to make the next "WoW" fail, your right. Though SoulByte wont. So if you can understand the determination and be willing to throw your time in work to work in a great environment where EVERYONE WHO IS STAFF HAS SAY IN THE GAME DESIGN !! ( Which means, you have an Idea... I more then likely will use it or modify it to work with us as long as its common sense capable for the market)

Robert, it is best to start with this thread when looking to make an MMO. It has good advice, and when you scroll down, there are scores of threads and links for resources and information. Hope it helps.

You seem adamant about your project enough. I've sent you an email with a request to join; if you would like to get in touch with me, please email me at firerocket33@yahoo.com.

Whether I wind up coming along or not, good luck on this project!

Thanks Ted though I was not asking how to make the mmorpg :) But all extra information is always granted and appreciated because there is not enough knowledge in one persons mind. :) Once again thank Ted for the support.

Hi Robert,

Let me know if you need a music composer for your game projects. I've composed additional music for multiple MODs and am currently working on a full score for another. I'd like to take on more full scores. I can supply just about any style of music needed. You can preview samples of my work at:

Hope to hear back from you!

Musically,
