The SDK, and plugin/utilities licensing...

I don't know if this question was asked(don't have enough time to scan through all the topics so bear with me).
I would like to create some utilities/plugins that can export trueSpace data to the V12 engine. Obviously, I would buy the V12 SDK to make that work, and I would like to sell the exporters and any other utilities that I make. How would the licensing work in that case? Would I have to use the source code in order to actually pay GG, or just the fact that I made a utility/exporter with the V12's formats would require that I pay royalties on that product?

Hopefully we will have more options than just worldcraft.

I've also been asking around in the mapping community for somone to do either Quark or Q3radiant support for V12. Hopefully we will have more options than just worldcraft.

My tool for .bm8 creation probably isn't as nice as the one that will come with the SDK though, but it worked for me.
The things I didn't support with my tool were MipMap creation and PNG conversion.
