Terrain Details not visible

Hey sorry about the second post, just wondering why the detail isnt showing up for my terrain block?
(I've tried detail1-5 and none have worked)

Also when I loaded up the simple.mis originally the detail actually made the terrain invisible within detail range and everything else was visible outside of the range of detail.

This was not a problem in beta 4 and below for me. beta 5 looks great other than the few glitches, but thats why its still beta :) good work!

Is this an actual bug or is it a problem with my computer?

Set the detail texture on each individual terrain material instead of on the whole terrain.

This did work, but then sent me back to the whole invisible terrain problem, I'll show you what happened when I set detail images to each terrain material. The first one is out of the range of the detail, the second image is within detail range.

Basic or Advanced Lighting? What's your GPU?

I'm in basic lighting, and ATI Radeon 1150.

Heres the console error I get whenever I get into detail range:

TerrainCellMaterial::init - Failed to create pass !

This is the same issue I am experiencing on my ATI X1250:

It is still, as yet, unresolved.
