Tagged Skins in Milkshape models?

Hello,

I've been trying to get tagged skins exported with milkshape such as:

base.test.jpg

What I am trying to do is use setSkinName(); to swap skins, but when I export a shape from milkshape with a base tag it causes a resManager error: ResourceObject::Construct: NULL resource create function. When trying to load the shape.

I've dug through the forums and have not found anything that helps.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong or a work around for this problem?

Fixed this by modifying how the milkshape exporter strips off file extentions.

I have seen issues with 3dmax and getting tagged skins to work. I was sent a model that was supposed to be created with a base.model.png file, but for the life of me I can never setSkin the puppy :( and my limited knowledge of 3dmax does not allow me to dig into the model and see wtf is going on.

I have the .max file as well as a .png file, just need 3dmax knowledge to figure out wtf is wrong.
