strange phenomenon

Hi,
my pictures and animations are not being saved properly on most or all of my games, when i reopen them, I have gotten a "error, datablocks not found" "image X, y , z are missing". I was wondering, may there be a common explanation for this? I am using a mac.

Are you using a script editor while your game editor is open? I'm not sure if this could cause your problem, but when I use Torsion it lets me know if something was changed and asks if I'd like to reload the script. If I don't reload the script and I change something, the changes made in the game editor are erased.

Yes, my Dreamweaver is open, tho I thinking of paying for Torsion (my free subscription is up). But it hasn't been a problem in the past.

When I load or reload a game, it upon loading tells me that, "Datablocks are missing: images XYZ are not there" but they are in the data/images folder. Very peculiar for sure.

If anyone has any suggestions, answers, solutions I would love to hear as it makes programming a real hassle when each time I need to reload the game, I end up having to spend 10 minutes recreating the scene, plus animations, all from scratch.

ok,
so I have just discovered something.

When I load from my TGB icon, in my dock... main screen comes up "create/open game option", I have missing datablocks/ including when I reload. But when I load from my particular games folder I get the proper info/game/images etc.

Hmm.
So I guess it works, just for now I can't open from my doc icon.

no biggie I guess.

Thanks.

Before you break out the credit card, I don't think Torsion works with a Mac. :)

yah I used it once. But I had the "CROSSOVER" software top go with it. Worked nice.

but you know what. It actually messed with my system. I did catch some glitches. May look at alternative?

I don't know, but Torsion was definitely good.
