Basic Bob is done. and its out...

You can download the demo here. It's 15.1 MB.

And ...

I experienced the greatest high of my life today!

I made my first sale

Not to a friend or family member. Just some random person who found the site, tried it, liked it, and bought it.

This is the best feeling in the world.

You guys have no idea (well, some of you do I'm sure) how amazing this feels. All this hard work as definately worth it.

I suppose I should link to the website :)

UPDATE: The installer is now an exe file, instead of msi. The download link has been updated.

Split between who ? This is a 1 man team.

EDIT: I shouldn't say that. I owe a small royalty to an artist and musician.

Congrats!
Wow, the dev finish line...
Can you see the next one allready? (j/k, there is no finish line.)
You're a one man army Chris.
Don't ever let anyone get you down.
Do you have a patching system?
It may play a very important role in the life of your product.
Good job man, I'll crack a beer for you and I bet my team will too. :)
Watching you go through each step was/is an inspiration.

Ari - I have the ability to create patches... and I will post a link to the patch on the website whenever there is a new one.

The next game is already designed, prototyped, and playable :)

Congratulations! Actually selling a piece of software is no small feat.

I once wrote a kick-ass PIM that was fully relational. And didn't sell a single copy.

My point being that writing software, whether it's a game or otherwise, and selling it are two different things. Way to go!

Your website is also quite effective. It's simple, to the point, easy to get around and gives me a good idea of what Bob is about in less than 2 minutes. Whoever did the site gets an A. The copy is excellent.

Suggestion for improvement: allow me to open the movie without downloading it first. I clicked it and Media player choked.

Stickman. Who would have thought?
