Ah, just screwing around with desiging some level(s). DTS all the way. I just threw some textures on real quick to get an idea of what i was working with. The level being shown is a frozen over "water temple" of sorts. it's been abandoned since the water froze over. This is the first major location for my project. It's also good practice. It's been awhile since i've made environments... but i also gotta use tricks to keep torque happy about the DTS usage.

I'm still working on the battle system. doing plotting and planning so characters don't just run into eachother on the battle field. works decent.

::edit:: took some more snapshots... textures are a bit too big.. so they don't look good, ah well :) i'll get around to messing with that stuff later.

nothing wrong with dark if it fits the mood (you did say abandoned temple) though yeah it would be good if your game wasnt totally dark all the time :)

Guys go easy on beginners... try to be more constructive like "buy the lighting kit" or "some torches would work well"..

If your going to harp on noobs offer some advice too...

/group hug.
