Plan for Chris "Spectre-7" Randolph

This week, I took on the daunting task of designing a logo for my upstart company. After many trials, tribulations and other T-words, I think I may just have it. My goals were to design something sleek and memorable, with a hint of humor. This is what I came up with:

So, now I've got a banner to hang my head under, and frankly... I'm pretty dang proud of it. With this bit of fluff out of the way, I can now focus on trying to get some important work done. Which brings me to -
The Project
For the time being, mum's still the word on details. Not because I feel the need to hide my super secret and revolutionary mega game idea OMG!!!. The truth is, I'm still getting settled with the technology and the idea of working on this thing all alone, and I don't want to write a check my ass can't cash. Yet.
That being said, things are going pretty good right now. I'm feeling a little more comfortable with TorqueScript (though I've still got a long, long way to go), and my design docs are shaping up. I've got a pretty clear vision of where this project is going, and I "think" I can do it. Now it's just a matter of keeping a good head of steam, and not petering out.
Accomplished:
A function to rotate an object to a desired new angle, without turning more than 180-degrees to said new angle.
Still to go:
Eighty Billion other things.
Until next time,
Chris

Damn funny - I kinda agree with Linhart. Although if that is your humor and that is what you want to get across in your games then by all means stick with it.

I like the logo. Hold on to your slogan for now, but don't be afriad to let it go, I'm sure something genious will just come to you one day with a name like Neandersoft.

If you're taking on everything by yourself, _technically_ it should be "By a primate..." I like the logo. Hold on to your slogan for now, but don't be afriad to let it go, I'm sure something genious will just come to you one day with a name like Neandersoft.

@Chris I like the logo, its clean and simple, and the colors go well together. Good luck on making that game, taking on a project all alone is a tremendous undertaking, so I hope it works out for you!

I'm used to being made to feel like an idiot by advertisers (*cough*Microsoft*cough*). This particular logo is terrific and doesn't make me feel at all stupid =)

I read Harry Potter and play games where I'm a pagan cleric, too.

Another Creationist / Hardcore Christian here. And I still like it :) Striking and memorable. I read Harry Potter and play games where I'm a pagan cleric, too.
