Plan for Phil Carlisle

by Phil Carlisle · 06/15/2005 (2:55 pm) · 25 comments

Ok, so my last few plans havent exactly been screenshot heavy have they....

Now that all changes! :)

I'm due to set off on my round the world trip in less than two weeks. But I'll be working quietly while I'm stuck in airports and such, on this and the AI. So we are ready for a October debut!

Anyway, this week has been dead busy, with students finishing, Ive got 12000 textures to start mapping the buildings for the france level. Along with some other stuff I bought and some contracts.

Anyway, without further messing, here are some simple footage shots of the game, in divx format.. just me pootling around in a spit.

Aerobatics
Shoot
Water

And for those who cant be bothered or dont have divx.. here are some screenies..

You can see the flash of 7.62mm easily in daylight. A 5.56 mm (.225 cal) is difficult to see in daylight with no sunglasses on. With protetive eyewear (venture 2 glasses) the glare of the sun is cut down but flashes of light are easier to pick up.

The weapons on the fighter plane are probably bigger than .50 cal (M2 Browning). I can attest to the flashes that monster puts out from the top of my M1A1 tank in broad daylight.

Maybe the muzzleflash should be a bit translucent (2-30%?) because they do look a bit "solid" right now, almost cartoon like.
