Plan for Jay Barnson

I'll get the THRILLING news off my chest first:
Void War was just previewed at WARCRY. For a few hours at least, we're at the top of the page. And here's the full preview.
The demo last Saturday went pretty well - we didn't get quite as many press folks as we'd hoped (though Warcry was well-represented!), but we had really BIG day playing LOTS of Void War multiplayer. LOTS. Hoo boy. We received lots of feedback and suggestions - both from the visitors as well as the development / testing crew who were getting in some very serious stick-time in the game. It's funny --- there are things you just take for granted and ignore until you watch someone else playing your game. And then you realize... DOH... you left out some really critical feedback.
In anticipation of some coverage, I spent most of the week with our web-designer re-doing the Rampant Games and Void War websites YET AGAIN. Eventually I hope to have time to actually work on the GAME again... but considering the incredible number of hours I put in over the last two weeks trying to get that demo ready, it's been a nice change of pace.
And just in case there wasn't enough screenshots in that Warcry preview... here's one more dev-shot of a piece of the game still very much under development (stand-in textures... and no texture on the saucer. So there's still some work to be done)

Shew. What a night. Hey, I still have 2.333 hours before I need to go to sleep... time to program!
EDIT
Oh - another addition... looks like my brother, the composer, got pretty excited about this too, and blogged it. Of course, for him, the preview was all about that one line about the music... but I can't blame him.
