Plan for Ron Yacketta

Here I thought everything was going fine in the world of fatherhood, coaching my sons two Soccer teams, taking the second child to Ballet leasons and watching the youngest of the bunch have a "terrible 2" time.

I got home this evening after Soccer practice to find my laptop missing 26 keys from the keyboard; I was able to put 7 of the keys back in place, unfortunately the remaining 19 keys are toast :( Needless to say I lost it big time, went on a war path ranting around the house like a goof! To make it worse I found out that my wife was sitting just 10 feet away from my laptop talking on the phone while my daughter was playing smash and grab with my keyboard.

Gave Dell support a jingle and what do you know, my warranty expired back in November *sigh* now it is going to cost me roughly $85 dollars to get a used keyboard which I have to replace myself.

Looking back I am just thankful that my daughter did not hurt herself and they she did not do more extensive damage then she did.

A learning experience! And I thought those were only confined to us silly minors...

Glad to hear that it was just a minor incident. Hopefully your daughter has been instilled with a healthy respect for Daddy's Stuff. :)

Heh those will be your best memories Ron when your a old man and your daughter is a young woman.

My Dad still remembers when me and my brother destroy his floor model 8-track home stereo system. LOL cause I sure dont remember.

But he explains it so vividly :)
