Plan for Marcus Ilgner

Ok. I did it. I purchased a copy of the torque engine.
Now I somehow have to find the time to get familiar with it...
The last few weeks I had one gig after the other with my band "Nice Try" and used my PC at home only to check for mail and quickly record a couple of song-ideas.
This will hopefully change after the next weekend (20.7.) when we had our last performance of the musical we are doing the music for.
I'm still a bit confused about how to code for torque using C++, as most of the stuff in the example is done via the torque script, so I guess I'll have to look into this one, too.
It seems like the community is quite active, so I hope I can get a couple of clues from them on how to start. It's not like I'm a newbie to game development, anyway. So maybe I can soon help out, too.
I would also be interested in writing some music for a PC game, but I guess this will have to wait some more.

Have you written music for a game before? Do you have samples we could listen to? Ever done sound effects before? I have a project that will need music...I know there are others in this position as well.
