Plan for Mike Stoddart

I seem to be having a love/hate relationship with the Torque engine. I'll get something working in the code, and I'll be on a roll for a while feeling like I could conquer the world.

Then I'll read a forum post somewhere that states how difficult it is to implement something as "simple" (note the emphasis, though I should probably say "common" or "fundamental") as making a player run.

All I want to do is have my player run! That shouldn't be difficult to implement, should it? I mean, most FPS game allow your player to run, so why not Torque?

Then I remember that I only paid $100 for the engine, and I decide to shut my mouth and get back into scripting.
