Ape to TX part 2

To start with, Special thanks to Alec Cove's APE engine Link

And this beast leg system

And here's my results..

Thats about 2 hours of work, mostly SVN porting, and setting up the individual pieces.

I seriously have no idea how the beast is supposed to operate, I basically just put the pieces in the TxB editor, how I thought they would work, and let it fly, and programmed a little motor to make it go.

It looks promising, but I'm not really sure how much time i should invest in it, or if it will help people at all, the goal would be to attract more people to TX, and eventually the Farseer Physics engine, which is even more robust.

Thoughts? Ideas? Admonishments?

Heres the source code Link Source for anyone who wants to check it out yourself.

It definitely has potential, due to the possibility of sheer randomness made available from it. I always wanted to create a game with no central players but the environments are the players as such. A combination of physics based entities and structures gelling together somehow. Maybe just a pipe dream but with further development could be a possibilty considering the capabilities of the physics shown in both links(vids). Really cool looking as well...

I think it works better as a bird then as a spider... it wants to fly...

I think it's more like lemar in half-life 2, "It's ok, he just wants to cusp your head". Yeah cheers scientist dude, you can stick your head in there for kicks if you want. I'll pass....
