Welcome back, GarageGames!

I've been away from the Torque community for a very long time now for many reasons that I won't go into here. I have been vaguely following along with the IA and TorquePowered upheavals and was very upset when I learned that GarageGames might have been going away. Now, here we are, at a new juncture in the life of GarageGames. Having dispensed with the TorquePowered and IA branding (finally), GarageGames has finally returned to it's old way of doing business; that is to say, indie-friendly pricing and engine licensing, and no more high-visibility corporate overlords. Looks like my wishes have come true!

As soon as I saw the price drop on T3D I immediately purchased a license and began the work of porting my old Veks project over to the new code base. Things have gone very smoothly and at every turn I grow more impressed with the quality and evolution of the new engine. Torque is truly better than it ever has been.

I just want to say 'hello again!' to all my old friends in the Torque community and I would like to extend my deepest and most heartfelt 'Thank You!' to GarageGames for all their great work, great game engine, and their continued excellence in providing indie developers an enormous helping hand.

Thank you GarageGames! I hope I can contribute more to this wonderful community in the coming months and years.

(On a tangent: Is it just me or is my old enhanced score resource being used in the new FPS example? Sweet! =)
