First of all, after hearing the news about GG it really hit me. I started my career as a J2me developer before moving on to use TGE when it was still version 1.2 or something like that. TGE alone with the community taught me all I needed to know about game development, so this community and engine really means a lot to me. At that time, I decided to start working on something that would use TGB and since I wanted to see how the market is at AppUp(SM) I decided that I will release this game for free at the AppUp(SM) market. Here's the result

Feature
Overall, I really enjoy coming back to work on TGB and I really hope GG will find a buyer that share the same passion we all do and keep GG running like how they used to.
Thanks Guys!

Bubble Breaker : Insanely Addictive!
Development
Was developed using TGB 1.75 all the code, art, sound and website was done within 3 weeks. Initially, I wanted a simple game that users can play on and on by competing with other player high scores, so the fun of it would be trying to beat the high score. Making the global high score and such an important feature so the game have both local and global high score for the player to find their rankings and compare it with other players. If you go to the website here , you also find that the global high score is also displayed on the website. Being a simple casual game, all the elements for a casual game is also there such as a player profile, save and continue last game or screen resolution things where as the game have to start at full screen, if the game goes inactive sound has to be disabled or alt+ctrl to adjust full screen.

The only reason I made this game was that I never released any of my game powered by a GG engine so as soon as I heard the news about GG I decide this will a great time to do so. I halt all my ios work and start working on this one, at least I wanted to show the capability of a GG engine.

Reading Eric post and some of the comments is a bit bitter(and yes I read all 45+ pages), some of the comments are just beating a dead horse. I find it no use to say what they did wrong at this point.
Hopefully, the community will release more games powered by GG to show it's true power :)

Cool free game, thanks for posting. Why not make the code available like the platformer kit? I know I would love to have the source to the game to build my own such and to learn from. Will the code ever be released or if your selling it, what are you asking? Just really interested in a learning point to make such a game. Thanks man for the info. Can't wait to hear back about it.
Thanks,
Will

If there are people interested in buying it as starter kit, please post a comment in this topic. I'm not sure if it will be worth creating a document or website for the kit.

@Will that might as well happen. Are there any people interested in it? If I do sell it and have enough people interested in it, the price would be around 30$. I think that would be a fair price. If there are people interested in buying it as starter kit, please post a comment in this topic. Great job Aun, it looks quite polished and professional for only 3 weeks of work! I had no idea plastic gem works with TGB. I think you should consider licensing out the code. I'm sure it would be useful to a lot of people. I'll be a customer =)

I agree with Will at making a basic kit to sell. I think kits outlast the games they were base on because of the knowledge you gain from them. I still pick and learn from my platform kit and adventure kits. Now if only a basic RPG kit was in the store :)
