www.evolver.com offers you the opportunity to design custom characters that are rigged for Torque 3D. No special skills required. Nothing to download. Free to try. $39 gets you full source to your character royalty free. Evolver supports user editable clothing for the existing clothing textures you find on our site. We encourage all developers using the Torque 3D engine to download the Evolver Free Mascot character at no charge and try it.
Evolver supports face from photo so you can easily cast yourself as a character in Torque. Why not give it a try today.

Evolver's website character customizer tool is about as much fun as a designer can have with their clothes on!

It had been in the back of my mind recently to check out Evolver again - after stumbling across it a while back - this is an awesome service!

I just did a new export of an Evolver character I created on their website. So I substituted it for Gideon to test the movement and use of the character. I was able to do all of this rather quickly today. Here is a video of my test.

Cool ... but my attention was drawn to a poster on a building which said "nookie - every Saturday". ;)

I didn't even read that poster. LOL
The girl model I created based on one photo, then changed the body type of the character to match the real person.

I could never seemingly get the right combination of requirements[aren't many..]. Would be helpful to perhaps see a step by step, especially in how you compose your reference shots...size, etc....

My yellow shaded area fits from forehead to chin with room to spare on the sides, don't get it; does this service have a forum for the 'stumblers' like me, HAHAAHA

Let me do that tonight and I'll get that posted.
Mine have turned out very nice.
Also I am working on a Maximo pipeline to torque using these characters.
Should have that info soon.
