SoW Weekly Update 9

Sigh. I thought I'd slain the Overtime Dragon but it turned out to be a Hydra, the single head I'd lopped off growing into not two but eight more heads. Rather unsporting, I thought. So that's a long weekend I was hoping to spend on SoW work down the drain. :/

But ah well. I will continue to try to slay the beast. There is some crap going down at work which I won't get into but hopefully it means that this is a fairly short-term problem. I know I've said that before but this time I mean it, for real! ;)

Fuck it, we'll see how it goes.

For now, I did manage to do something, just not nearly as much as I would have liked. I continued working on that ship. It's about the highest polygon model I've done so far, getting close to 10k triangles. Adding in the detail meshes like the ropes should push it closer to 15k. Woot.

Standard disclaimer, Work In Progress, still a fair amount to do, details meshes like ropes and whatnot, texture work is not final etc.

Hi Gareth -- Im curious, were you ever able to get PROJECTILE objects to show up in the RTS starter game ?
I read over your posts and sounds like you had it working -- but I can't seem to find the "trick" to making the projectiles visible at all.
