by Scott Burns · 01/03/2010 (4:17 am) · 11 comments

It's time for the TorquePowered Community Best of 2009 Awards show! I'll be your host for the evening. I may not sing and dance like Billy Crystal, or have the razor sharp wit of Jon Stewart, but I do have the one thing the job requires. The names of the winners! But first a song and dance number from Billy Crystal.

That does it for community voted awards. All award shows have some kind of lifetime achievement award, and this one is no different. On that note I present....

The Founders Award

The 2009 Founders Award goes to none other than Friday... For a thread that was created to celebrate the glory of Fridays and to have continued to remain active for nearly as long as the site itself, it truly is a lifetime achievement.

As the band plays me off for talking too long this brings our show to a close. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees. Feel free to have your own Sally Fields moment now.
