Itching to get back to game dev

I'm itching to get back into game dev. Back in August I was all set to get an LLC and some DRM and self-publish a game. Life got in the way. I won't bore you with the details. The short story is that I'm separated from my wife. I have been staying at my Mom's house since mid- September while I could save money for my own place and make the transition for my wife to take over the house bills.
So to say the least for a while I didn't have much desire to do anything. Now I'm excited to get back to things. I will be in my apartment December 1st. Unfortunately I don't really have a work space for game dev here at my moms so I have a few more weeks to suffer from lack of game dev stimulation. I started a pt-job along with my ft one so I can be in better position fiscally to start my biz. It's probably going to kill me but I gotta do what I gotta do.
I went to a meet up for the Albany NY chapter of IGDA. I'm hoping to get involved with those guys/girls. They are a cool bunch. I have only casually been checking in on GG's but I know a lot is going on. It's very exciting and I just want to blow all my money on Torque Powered products. :) I was talking up GG's and Torque at the meet up. I was amazed that people didn't realize you get Source code.
So with all the optimism I had going into 09. I'm twice as excited about my game dev in 2010. I will release at least 1 product and shooting for 2 with the hopes of having my hands in a couple others before the end of 2010. This is the year I dedicate to reaching my goals.

Life always takes it's toll on us. When we stand strong, with a lot of optimism, nothing, even life can stand in our way.
