Greetings!

Yet another update of GAME MECHANICS KIT. It supports T3D Beta 4 and fixes some minor bugs.

If you are a registered user of GMK you can get it right now if you'll email me at logicking@logicking.com with subject "GMK 1.2.2". Please don't forget to write your email/account at GarageGames.com. Hopefully it will be uploaded at GG very soon and you will be able to download it from your GG account also.

If you didn't hear about GMK yet, you can learn more at GMK's Developers Store Page.

Game Mechanics Kit FORUM is also a good place to ask any questions!

I have already shared some art from the game we are prototyping using T3D and GMK.

Now I can share you some real video footage of this project. Level was exported from 3dMax to T3D via Collada. T3D Material Editor is a pure gold. With only couple of hours we were able to assign normal maps and specular to most of textures.

The GAME MECHANICS KIT is an add-on for T3D, TGEA and TGE that allows game designers to script and edit gameplay mechanics visually, not in code. Create your game with intuitive ready-made components. With a physics pack that allows for ragdoll editing and a cut scene editor, the Game Mechanics Kit enables novice game designers to make their own rich 3D games.

is the flashlight a part of GMK? I could not find how it works.
also, there seems no player interaction with cloth (bullet physics)

deepscratch, to make a flashlight, mount a light to a shape.

@deepscratch, Pat Wilson

You don't even have to mount. There's a special option of ShapeImage datablock.

Just add to weapon datablock
lightType = SpotLight;

Check out shapeImage.cpp for more info

do you plan to made work on the future for torque X ?

@Federico Trujillo
Currently there are no such plans, but it can happen in the future. I don't have TorqueX license, but AFAIK TorqueX written in the C#, while GMK is C++.

well because what i need honestly is most those tools enemies spawn and the trigers on torque X because that will be incredible for non programers like me and people is most a designer then a coder
