2 new Vehicle Audio Sound Packs

I'd like to announce that Pole Position Production (www.pole.se) has created 2 brand new audio vehicle sound kits that are available right now from their store. Pole Position is a specialist when it comes to all sorts of vehicle and engine sounds as well as other sound effects. They're well known in the industry for the incredible quality of sounds like never heard before in games.

As Pole is usually doing only unique per project recordings and not offering general ready-to-use sound packs I was asking them (esp. Max Lachmann) if they could start producing sounds packs with their quality but aimed for the indy market. I was myself despairingly searching for high quality, seemlessly looping engine sounds and after some discussions about what kind of sounds such packs would need, how to market it etc. they agreed and started producing the first vehicle sounds kits with each of them having multiple seemlessly looping engine sounds (like V8's, Trucks, Motorcycles etc), engine start sounds, impacts, gear shifts, bumps, 3-2-1-Go voices, checkpoint sounds as well as tyre screeches.

Please visit their store here and look in the list for "Sound Kit 1 & 2". Each pack (Sound Kit 1 & 2) is available for 149 US$ and both as combined package for 229 US$. If you have any comments or critics about the packs, please contact Max Lachmann from Pole or reply here in the thread. I'll make sure Max reads it. :-)

Of course Pole is also available for per-project work if you need custom sounds for your project!

Here's a demo (very early prototype!) from an upcoming game I'm currently developing that uses a bunch of the sounds from the Pole sound kits: Online Car Race Demo.

Enjoy!
