wrote up a quick javascript page to convert old GG-site links to new ones.
i'm sure this will no longer be needed once the GG team have a chance to address this, but in the meantime it's something i need to continue my day-to-day forum use, so it's something other might want as well.
the code is laughably naive (just view source!), so it might not work for all links. if there's a problem w/ it, please figure out what the fix should be and post it here, and i'll include it.

Wonderful, now if only the forums were not listed in pages, i have one thread thats 12 pages long with code examples im referring to on 3 different pages. Keep accidentally closing my browser windows trying to get them out of the way, all this frustration on top of a already complex bit of code is just too much, im taking this day off and going out drinking....
