Working with TGE

I have been a TGE owner for a little over three years now, and I think I am finally getting the hang of it. In the beginning I was like whoa, but it takes time and patience when learning something of this magnitude. I am currently taking classes at the Game Institute, and over there every 4 - 8 weeks they host a game programming challenge. I have opted to use the TGE as the backbone of my project, since I wanted to utilize it anyway. Below is what I am working on. I call the project Deep Sleep. What I am doing is learning as I go. Since I am not really a great 3D artist, yet, I am using some of the stock artwork that come with TGE, and completely making a FPS. I am tweaking the code and coming up with some pretty nice scripting code. The challenge will end in December. I will post what I have as a final then. I will also post updates here on the progress of my game.

I have been wanting to land a job as a game programmer for two years now, with nothing happening as of yet. So I will be adding this to my portfolio. In the mean time I have started my own indie game company, XtremeWare Solutions LLC, going to see how this is going to jump off.

Looking good! Keep up the good work! What theme is the game going to be? It kinda looks like Horror Fps.

Love the ambience! That sky is perfect. Also, that was a nice little camera-wobble there at the end - is that stock or your own coding?

Looks good. Have you thought of collaborating on an existing game project?
