The HUD is really starting to take shape. Looks good. The environments are looking to be fun as well.

Ack! Credit for the HUD artwork and weapon model go to Ian Roach and the team at Single Cell Games. We were kindly allowed to piggyback on the ground breaking work in Illumina to help us prototype and iterate quickly.

Some other people's work on show here :

Most textures are from the 3D Total Texture Set.

Player model from the MACK pack.

Trees/foliage is from the sticks and twigs pack.

SSAO Shader provides pretty shadows.

Green Ear and Explosions pack aren't shown, but are built in there.

Thanks to all of these, and the amazing resources on offer, we've been able to build a pretty full featured FPS in a little over two weeks (Iron Sites, Melee Attacks, Crouch, Prone, Weapon Modes, Base Capture, Teams, Scopes, Recoil etc.). We're aiming to have a demo polished and done for November 30th.

After that I'll start blogging about our plans for the game, some of the awesome tools we're using, the beauty of TGEA and the amazing quality and usefulness of the content and developer packs here at GG. For now though, back to scripting!
