My "Nuke base" test/learning project
by Joseph Euan · 08/13/2008 (5:49 am) · 10 comments
Been getting back in to using TGEA and Torque Constructor...
The only way I could think of doing it and have some fun was to play around making a nuke base map.
So far, I've made:
Nuke missile
Floor
Pipes x 2 sorts
Control Platform
Over head crane
Entrance/Tunnel with room
Sat Dish
Base Roof
To make next:
Forklift Truck
Props
More Pipes
More rooms for Entrance/Tunnel (command room, mess, quarters etc etc)
"more to come"
The other thing with this test... once I'm done.. I plan on just giving it all away (if anyone wants any of it) :P
Some pics: (WIP)

All comments and suggestions welcome

I'm making a control room at the moment... I just made that as a quick thing to add.. going to just change it in to the controls for the over head crane or something.
Fix the water block in pic 2?
If you mean the thing in front of the door.. that's a temp floor/road

Looks cool...

I would suggested completely portaling it off, turning off the ambient light acceptance, and lighting it from in the engine with the "Inverse Square Fast Falloff" light model.

As far as lighting goes... I would suggested completely portaling it off, turning off the ambient light acceptance, and lighting it from in the engine with the "Inverse Square Fast Falloff" light model.

There needs to be a station with "Do you want to play global thermonuclear war?" sitting at a command prompt.

"Would you like to play a game?"
